The thermoelectric building envelope (TBE) integrates materials with the for active space heating and cooling. advantage of TBE cooling includes its significantly low-profile design no refrigerant use. Although there are existing studies evaluating performance, they were based on limited operating conditions. study aims to experimentally evaluate performance a prototype under various was installed between two psychrometric chambers, which simulated indoor outdoor tested at an temperature around 22.35–23.58 °C temperatures from −7.35 16.99 28.36 40.95 cooling, varied power inputs fan maximum coefficient (COP) in mode is 3.2. average COP current 1.5 A four winter scenarios 1.37. 0.3–1.5 12 2.27. system demonstrates better efficiency than auxiliary electric heater heat pump system. experimental results evaluation obtained provide critical guidance deployment applications.
